Flyers to reportedly have new — kind of — jerseys for 2023-24 season

The Flyers will be throwin' it back a bit with new home and road jerseys next season, according to a report Thursday.

Per Chris Creamer of SportsLogos.Net, the team will use its original, lighter shade of orange from when the franchise was birthed in 1967-68 and a design similar to the jerseys the club wore from 1982 to 2007.

You can see the Flyers' original shade of orange at the bottom of this story we published in October 2020. According to Creamer's report, the Flyers have used a slightly darker shade of orange since the 1999-20 season.

A few other notable parts of Creamer's story: the Flyers won't make any changes to the logo and there will not be an alternate sweater.

Whenever the Flyers have decided on a new jersey, they always make sure to not stray too far away from the iconic look that defined the franchise in its early years.

Creamer, using the information he reported, made a mockup of what the jerseys could look like in the 2023-24 season. You can see that and read more about the changes in his story here.
