The Eagles were back on the practice field in the rain on Wednesday morning as they continued their prep to play the Steelers on Sunday.
While the Eagles held a walkthrough on Wednesday, safety Reed Blankenship (concussion) returned with a helmet as a limited participant. That’s a sign that he’s moving through the NFL’s concussion protocol and could make his return on Sunday after missing the Panthers game. Against the Panthers, Tristin McCollum made his first NFL start in place of Blankenship.
The Eagles officially had a walkthrough on Wednesday so the report is an estimation.

NFL
Hurts had a finger on his non-throwing hand taped so he had to be on the report. But he's a full participant.
Lane Johnson (personal) was not at practice, while Dickerson, Becton, Brown, Sweat, Gardner-Johnson and Slay were all spectators.
Carter dealt with a shoulder injury earlier in the week and was able to play through it.
Covey missed Sunday's game with that neck injury. We'll see how he progresses this week. In his absence against the Panthers, DeJean returned punts.
