Eagles inactives: Corey Clement (quad) active, but Eagles light on DL

Corey Clement (quad) is active for today’s game against the Vikings after missing last week's game.

Clement played two weeks ago with the quad injury but missed last week and came into the weekend as questionable. We’ll see how much he can do on Sunday.

Haloti Ngata (calf), who was also listed as questionable, is inactive. That means the Eagles will be light on defensive linemen.

The Eagles already ruled out Darren Sproles (hamstring) and Derek Barnett (shoulder) on Friday.

Here’s the full list of Eagles inactive players:

Haloti Ngata (calf)
Darren Sproles (hamstring)
Derek Barnett (shoulder)
Jordan Mailata
Chance Warmack
Matt Pryor
Nate Sudfeld

This will be the second time in Josh Sweat’s young career that he’s active. The rookie defensive end didn’t get to play against Indy, but should be a part of the defensive end rotation against the Vikings because of Barnett’s injury. And recently-signed Treyvon Hester will need to play too.

The Eagles have just three active defensive tackles: Fletcher Cox, Destiny Vaeao and Hester. Look for Brandon Graham and Michael Bennett to get some snaps inside.

But without Barnett and Ngata, the Eagles have just seven active defensive linemen.
