The Eagles and 1st-round pick Jalen Reagor have agreed to terms on his four-year rookie contract, which includes a fifth-year option.

So no contractual problems with the 1st-round pick the day before Eagles rookies are scheduled to report to the NovaCare Complex for training camp.

Reagor’s standard four-year rookie contract is slotted to be worth around $13.3 million. Here are Reagor’s projected salaries and cap numbers for the duration of the four year contract, via OverTheCap

2020: $610,000 base salary; $2.4 million cap number
2021: $1.2 million base salary; $3.0 million cap number
2022: $1.8 million base salary; $3.6 million cap number
2023: $2.4 million base salary; $4.2 million cap number

For the most part, getting rookies under contract these days is a formality. The rookie wage scale from the 2011 CBA has created a much more seamless process.

Reagor is the third draft choice to get under contract. Sixth-round picks Quez Watkins and Prince Tega Wanogho have already signed their deals.

The Eagles took Reagor with the No. 21 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft back in April. He was the fourth receiver taken. The Eagles fell in love with his explosiveness and speed.

In three years at TCU, Reagor caught 148 passes for 2,248 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also returned punts.

Last month, head coach Doug Pederson said Reagor will start off learning the Eagles’ Z receiver position, which means he’ll be learning from veteran DeSean Jackson when training camp starts next week.
