Rally for Red October Bus tour

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, Phillies fans! The Phils are back in the playoffs for another postseason run. To celebrate, NBC10 brought back the Rally for Red October Bus tour, sponsored by Toyota!

At select locations, Phillies fans gathered to celebrate the Phillies, heard from special guests and got their hands on exclusive swag, including a Red October rally towel.

This year’s bus tour included the following stops at the following times on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024:

Fans first gathered outside Citizens Bank Park around 11 a.m. where NBC10's Miguel Martinez-Valle spoke with Phillies legend Milt Thompson about the team's upcoming postseason run.

Phillies fans are gathering across the area to celebrate the team's postseason run and get their hands on some exclusive swag. NBC10's Miguel Martinez-Valle speaks with fans at Citizens Bank Park and speaks with former Phillies legend Milt Thompson. 

Then around 11:30 a.m., Miguel traveled to the first official stop of the bus tour, the Comcast Center Plaza in Center City. That's where Miguel spoke with fans who are hyped for the playoffs.

Phillies fans gathered in the Comcast Center plaza for the first stop of the Rally for Red October bus tour. NBC10's Miguel Martinez-Valle spoke with fans who are hyped up for the upcoming playoff run. 

Then around noon, a live Q&A event featuring analysts from NBC Sports Philadelphia, began at the Comcast Center Plaza.

After the Q&A, the tour bus left the Comcast Plaza and arrived at City Hall around 1:30 p.m. where Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker joined in on the fun.

After City Hall, the bus traveled to Fayette Street in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, around 3 p.m. and ended its journey at Veterans Square in Media, Pennsylvania, around 5 p.m.

Philadelphia is Red October ready! The Red October bus tour kicked off on Wednesday to make sure fans are fired up for the Phillies postseason run and this year they head into the playoffs as NL East Champions. NBC10's Miguel Martinez-Valle captured all of the fan excitement from the bus tour.
