SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Austin Freeman had 14 points to lead four Georgetown players in double figures, and the Hoyas won their seventh straight game.

Georgetown (19-5, 8-4 Big East) gave coach John Thompson III his first win in the Carrier Dome in six tries. It was the third straight home loss for Syracuse (20-5, 7-5), only the third time that's happened in coach Jim Boeheim's 35 years.

Kris Joseph scored 14 points, D.J. Fair had 12, and Brandon Triche 11 for the Orange.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Ben Hansbrough scored 25 points and Carleton Scott had nine of his 16 points in overtime for the Fighting Irish.

Tim Abromaitis added 23 points for the Irish (20-4, 9-3 Big East), who extended their overall win streak to six games and their home streak to 17.

Kyle Kuric scored a career-high 28 points and Terrence Jennings added 14 for Louisville (18-6, 7-4) before fouling out in overtime.
