Philly most recently hosted the NCAA men's basketball tournament in 2016, when North Carolina and Notre Dame met in the East regional final. UNC went on to lose to Villanova in the title game on Kris Jenkins' legendary game-winning shot.
Eagles President Don Smolenski is a chair on the PHL Sports Advisory Board, and he called landing these five events "another tremendous example of the collaborative camaraderie of the Philadelphia sports community."
It'll be pretty neat to see all this action in Philly, especially if the city's schools manage to be well-represented in these championships.
