Tobias Harris is posting as if the Sixers are still playing

The Sixers haven’t played a basketball game since last Wednesday, with the 2019-20 season suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Don’t tell that to Tobias Harris.

First, Harris posted on Instagram Thursday night after the Sixers would have played the Hornets.

He later posted a photo of himself walking into (or out of?) an arena with sunglasses and style.

As Magic guard Evan Fournier astutely pointed out in the comments, the Sixers’ game against the Hornets was scheduled to be in Charlotte. Harris' location was "In My Own World," though, so the photo seeming to be from outside of Wells Fargo Center isn't really relevant.

Saturday night’s “game” vs. the Hawks was apparently a big one for rookie Matisse Thybulle. “All them TikTok videos paying off the for the kid,” according to Harris.

Thyublle confirmed in the comments that his TikTok exploits are why he shined in Harris’ unique simulation, writing, “It was all those hours I've been putting in to learn that 'Renegade' dance. Hard work really does pay off!!”

When Thybulle acknowledged the reality that the Sixers did not, in fact, beat the Hawks on Saturday night and called out Harris for his creative use of his time in self-quarantine, Harris hit on a new nickname.

The Sixers had the Timberwolves up next on the schedule. If you’re curious about what might have happened Tuesday night, Harris will probably have an answer.
