Phililes righthander Joe Blanton has been activated from the 15-day disabled list.
In four starts this season, Blanton is 0-1 with a 5.92 ERA. He is scheduled to start Monday night against the Florida Marlins.
Blanton, 30, was originally placed on the DL on April 29, retroactive to April 24, with a medial impingement in his right elbow.
A spot was opened on the 25-man roster when the Phillies placed Carlos Ruiz on the 15-day DL on Sunday with lower back inflammation.
